Our [ new work season 2007 ] opens in September and features five world premieres and six UK premieres. World premieres include When Midnight Strikes, a new musical by Charles Miller and Kevin Hammonds; Little Madam, a new play on Margaret Thatcher, specially commissioned for the Finborough Theatre from Playwright-in-Residence James Graham; Lucifer Saved, a new verse play as part of our poetryatthefinborough series from another Finborough Theatre Playwright-in-Residence, Peter Oswald; and A Letter to England - a double bill of new British plays by Nirjay Mahindru and Anders Lustgarten. UK premieres include [ new work america ] - a mini-season of script-in-hand performances of five dazzling new American plays by some of the USA's hottest new writers; and Andrew Lippa's Off-Broadway musical, john & jen. Our finboroughforum series continues in September, October and November.
