Competition Terms and Conditions:

Addendum: The Traffic Jam Remixed by Malibu

  1. In addition to the standard 5FM Competition Terms and Conditions, the below conditions also apply for Traffic Jam remixed by Malibu conducted on 5FM on behalf of Malibu (the promoter).
  2. By entering this competition contestants accept the Pernod Ricard South Africa Malibu terms which are on their website: http://malibusa.info/
  3. The competition runs from Monday, 7 March 2016 to Friday, 11 March 2016.
  4. This competition is only open to entrants over the age of 18.
  5. Entrants must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel on the specified dates.
  6. To participate, entrants must request a song remix to be played on the Traffic Jam feature on The Roger Goode Show – sponsored by Malibu – by tweeting their request @5FM #BestSummerEver.
  7. Daily winners will be selected, based on their song submission, and announced on The Roger Goode Show; the daily prize is a Malibu hamper valued at R3000 including 1 bottle of Malibu Island Spiced, 1 bottle of Malibu Original, 1 Fujifillm instant camera, 1 selfie stick, 1x 1litre coke, 1 x 1 litre pineapple juice, 1 x Sunglass Hut voucher to the value R1,000.
  8. The daily winners will also be included in the grand prize draw on Friday.
  9. The grand prize is a trip for two to Ibiza. The grand prize is valued at R40,000 and includes:
  10. two nights’ accommodation for 2 (two) in Ibiza,
  11. return flights from any mainline South African airport,
  12. Airport transfer fees,
  13. Visas for entry into Ibiza,
  14. unlimited specified drinks (as per all-inclusive package)
  15. Breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and selected Pernod drinks;
  16. The grand prize is valid for June 2016 and winners must be able to take up the prize in this time.
  17. The prize excludes anything other not detailed in the prize inclusions above.
  18. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The total prize value is quoted in South African Rands and is based on the recommended retail value of prize components at the time of printing. 5FM and the promoter accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of any prize. If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, 5FM and the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal value and/or specification. To the extent permitted by law: (a) 5FM and the Promoter make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Prize; and (b) no compensation will be payable if, for any reason, a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
  19. The winners will be announced on-air and 5FM will then contact the winners telephonically and 5FM will distribute the hampers to the winners. 5FM will also supply the winner details to Malibu to make grand prize arrangement with the grand prize winner.
