Lewisham’s annual flagship event, now in its 30thyear, is a unique opportunity for you to network, fundraise and publicise your activities to 25,000 participants and visitors in a festival setting.

Lewisham People’s Day 2015 terms and conditions
- We regret that all hire fees are non-refundable. This applies to cancellations made before the event and on the day of the event.
- Acceptance of an application and allocation of a space is strictly at the discretion of the event management. Submitting an application is not guarantee of inclusion at the event. The Events Team will contact you with any queries on receipt of your application.
- Please ensure that you select the appropriate category for your application. We offer subsidised stalls, pitches and marquees for local voluntary or community groups only. A Participant application and price applies toregional, national and international branches of charities, statutory organisations, community interest groups and social enterprises. - Food concessions and craft stalls are negotiated separately. Please e-mail for further details.
- Applicants may not prepare, cook or serve food on site. Home-made food items such as jams, chutneys and cakes onlymay be sold but must be clearly labelled with the name of the product and a list of ingredients in descending order of quantity, the date made and a ‘to be consumed by’ date.
- Applicants may not use any form of amplification. No electricity will be supplied, unless booking a marquee, to which power can be supplied at an additional cost. No generators are permitted.
- Applicants must not sell goods, or carry out any activities, not stated on the application. Applicants may not sell alcohol or tobacco at the event.
- Please think about the products and merchandise that you hand out and the overall impact your display will have on the environment. If you can do it a greener way, all the better. Applicants must be responsible for their own rubbish and use the appropriate recycling bins throughout the day.
- Due to the removal of equipment at previous events we regret that no tables and chairs can be supplied. All of our equipment is security marked and random searches will be in operation on the exit gates to prevent any further unauthorised removal of equipment.
- To protect the health and safety of staff and participants only a very limited amount of vehicle movement is permitted on-site. If your display includes the use of an integrated vehicle please state this on your application form.
- No dogs are permitted anywhere on site, including in the car park. Do not leave your dog in a vehicle.
- All organisations must stay within their pitch boundaries. Failure to do so may result in having your display removed without a refund.
- The Council requires an assurance that the applicant does not and will not discriminate against or in favour of any person by reason of colour, gender, creed, race, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, sexual orientation or marital status. Submission of an application form will be taken as such an assurance.
