· SGA Meeting on Tuesday, November 1, at 3:45 PM in the Media Center.
· The Canned Food Drive will begin November 7. More details will be coming from Mrs. Overby.
· Reagan Swim Team Tryouts:
1. You must meet the following criteria in order to try out for the 2016-2017 Swim Team:
§ HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL signed and dated by a physician along with all other required paperwork and concussion forms signed by a parent before the first day of tryouts.
§ Be academically eligible (grades and absences).
2. There will be a 2-day tryout period. EVERY WORKOUT IS MANDATORY FOR EVERY ATHLETE WHO IS TRYING OUT FOR THE TEAM. Each athlete must provide his/her own equipment (suit, goggles, towel, etc.) for each workout. Here is the tryout schedule:
§ Monday, October 31 – Swim workout from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Winston-Salem State University Pool)
§ Tuesday, November 1 – Swim workout from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Winston-Salem State University Pool)
· Reagan Dive Team Tryouts:
1. You must have the same paperwork as Swim Team.
2. There will be a 2-day tryout period with same rules as Swim Team.
§ Friday, November 4 – Swim workout from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM (Winston-Salem State University Pool)
§ Saturday, November 5 – Swim workout from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Winston-Salem State University Pool)
· REAGAN DRAMA CLUB presents THE BAD SEED by Maxwell Anderson, a story of a sweet child…but is she really? Expand your Halloween fun with this show! Heredity vs. Environment – which one wins out? Thursday, November 3, Friday, November 4, and Saturday, November 5, at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door.
· Senior Apparel will go on sale starting Monday, October 31, 2016. The order period will go through Wednesday, November 9, 2016. No orders will be accepted after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. The following items will be available for ordering:
§ Grey long sleeve t-shirts – sizes Small to 3XL
§ Grey short sleeve t-shirts – sizes Small to 3XL
§ Grey crew neck sweatshirt – sizes Small to 3XL
§ Grey sweatshirt with hood – sizes Small to 3XL

· Support Your Troops – Please stop by Mr. Norwood’s Room #404 to send a card to our military troops. Send a thank you card to a service man or woman. The cards will be provided.
· Meals for Mr. Brown – Please contact Mr. Norwood if you are interested in helping provide meals for the family.
· The ASVAB will be given on November 15. This test serves as a military entrance exam AND a career interest tool. There is no cost to students. A sign-up sheet will be outside of Student Services. Please see Mrs. Fulcher with questions.
· You’re invited: Catawba College Athletic Training Day on Saturday, November 5. This will be a fun-filled day with athletic trainers, speakers, a tour of the Catawba College facilities and an opportunity to learn what Athletic Training is and what an athletic trainer does. If you are interested in physical therapy, physician assistant or occupational therapy, this would be a great opportunity to learn more about these related fields. There will also be an opportunity to tour the campus of Catawba College and get free football tickets including free lunch at the concession stand for all guests! · A free college planning class will be held at Reagan High School on Thursday, November 17 at 7:00 PM. Parents and students are invited to attend.
· Crosby Scholar 9th and 10th Grade Academy Dates – You are only required to attend one 9th and 10th Grade Crosby Scholar Academy. Pre-registration is required. Register through your Student Portal at www.crosbyscholars.org.

· Student Services receives information from colleges and organizations throughout the year about enrichment opportunities for students such as summer camps, workshops, and college programs. We will continue to add information and flyers to this haiku page throughout the year.
