Executive Chef - TheGolf Club at South River

Originally opened in 1996 as a high end daily fee course, TheGolf Club at South River began its conversion to a private golf club on May 15, 2008. Since that day we have welcomed over 280 new members. The golf course has undergone much work including the addition of a $1 million practice facility and a $1.5 million golf course renovation. The golf course went fullyprivate in November of 2011.A $5.0 million renovation to the clubhouse was completed in December of 2012.

TheGolf Club at South Riverhas a well-equipped, recently renovated kitchen and a growing membership that desires an Executive Chef who can consistently provide familiar club favorites in the Bistro and produce specialty dinners, great holiday buffets and exceptional catered events. GCSRis searching for an outgoing and genuine leader who will focus on delivering a great dining experience and build member relations. The successful candidate will be likeable, possess sound judgment and be an advocate of the club’s mission. It is expected that the Executive Chef be a hands-on leader with experience in delivering high quality food in a casual, friendly environment. A strong knowledge of both a la Carte and banquet food preparation, along with verifiable staff management and purchasing skills are required. Prior club experience is preferred. The club is open 12 months a year and will provide competitive compensation, vacation, health benefits and educational opportunities.
