1.Previous experience of working in a HR role

I have worked as a HR Officer for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council for 7 years. During this time my duties have included, recruitment and selection, sickness management, payroll, training and disciplinary and grievances.

I have used bespoke recruitment systems such as Atlas and Sage for payroll.

My targets are part of the corporate strategy, and meeting these (i.e. reducing absence) allows a better service to our citizens. All of my work is logged as per audit procedures and adheres to the corporate policies and procedures.
