Example 2 – journal

Using templetes will be very useful when i become a teacher. Since i want to be a kindergarden teacher i will make happy notes and sad notes. Each child will recieve one of the two at the end of the week. This will let their parents know how they behaved that week during school. Since i learned how to make a templete, I can make a template for each of these, and just fill names in at the end of each week. This will also be useful in creating permission slips, and notes home.

One Paragraph Journal Entry

Journal entries of at least one paragraph describing your development through the course. Comments regarding application of computer concepts and topics discussed during lecture that you find application for in other courses you are taking. What have you learned in EME 2040? How does it apply or transfer to other areas? What is missing?

Although this semester has just begun, I am very interested in the learning outcomes of this course. The skills that we will acquire will help us as prospective teachers. When we begin our career in an educational setting, we will be faced with many different forms of technology that will require us to apply the knowledge that we received in order to accomplish a task. Aside from the fact that this course will help us in an educational setting, it will also benefit us in our other academic courses that we are currently taking. For example, project one and two that we have already completed would be a helpful tool to use in the aspect of planning an event or having to produce a professional letter to send to a business in order to receive funding for a club or organization. Therefore, this class will not only benefit us in the future but during the course of this year.

Example 2 – Poor Journal Entry

I never used mail merge before, but now I know. That will be useful in alot of different jobs not only teaching. I am so happy that we got more computers.
