Sub:- Request for allotment of E2-E3 training batches of Karnataka & Kerela Circles to RTTC Mysore & Trivendrum- reg
Sir,
As you know a large number of Executives have to undergo the training for the promotion of E2-E3. Time is very much short to complete the training programme for all the E2 Promotees at ALTTC Ghaziabad. It is also very much difficult especially ladies and aged Executives to take training at far off place Ghaziabad It will take 4 days for to & fro journey. It is wastage of money for traveling, Wastage of Man power for journey and hardship to aged and Ladies Executives. It is noticed that large no. of SDEs of Karnataka & Kerela Circles, large no. of SDEs of QA,STR,STP,T&D Circle working in Karnataka & Kerela have to take training. Even today single batch of QA Circle has not started. Whereas, in many Circles it was started in the month of Oct 2007 itself. In recent past it is observed that Training for promotion of E2-E3 has been decentralized and allotted to RTTC Chennai to avoid hardship to Executives of South India. But it is not sufficient to complete the training process in a short time.
RTTCsMysore (Details enclosed) & Trivendrumare the excellent and well equipped training Centres.RTTCs Mysore & Trivendrum may be utilized for imparting training E2-E3 to speedup the process and to avoid hardship to the Executives of South India.
In view of the above, It is requested to allot the bathes of E2 to E3 for Executives of Karnataka & Kerela Circles and Non Territorial Circle of Karnataka & Kerela viz. QA Circle, STR, STP and T&D Circles to RTTCs Mysore, Trivendrum & Chennai. Early action in the matter is highly appreciable.

RTTC Mysore
RTTC Mysore started functioning in the present sprawling campus of 20 acres from 23-1-1993. The centre has been identified as "Centre for excellence in Computers" by the directorate. Presently RTTC identified as "Centre for excellence in Data Communication" and It is also an ISO 9001 2000 certified institute.
New course on "BSNL DATA Networks Services" Designed And developed By RTTC Mysore as per the guidelines from BSNL Corporate office and is being conducted as one week course.
RTTC Mysore is one of the four training centres in the BSNL where GSM training module consisting of MSC, BSC and BTS is functioning from Feb 2003.
The centre has many well equipped high tech class rooms, a high quality conference hall, an audio visual lab, a library with more than 4000 books.
In switching side the following labs are equipped viz. CDOT-MBM/SBM, 256 and ANRAX, HDSL, ISDN, POWER PLANT.
In transmission side following labs are equipped viz. D-MUX, 13/7 GHz DMW, 2GC UHF, OFC/OFS, SOH.
In Broad band side RTTC has Tier 1/2 Switch, DSLM CPE equipments MLLN Equipments etc,
The RITC Mysore has continued its impressive growth and added quite a few equipment and new trainings, Workshops on Inspections, PR and SMPS .The members of the faculty are ever eager to meet the requirements of the field units by conducting the training programs for various cadres of the department. We can handle training for all cadres as we are equipped with necessary hostels and rooms etc. RTTC team consists of one DGM, 1 DE s, one CAO, Two Sr. AO , 27 SDEs , 8 JTOs and other supporting staff.
Hence RTT C Mysore can handle even E2 to E3 batches also.
