About this role:

·  You’ll be based in London and be part of the communication team. Reporting to the communication manager and joined in the team by our press relations manager (who are located in Paris), you’ll be part of a professional team enjoying regular communications in phone calls or skypes.

·  You’ll be the communications contact point for London teams and will be the relay for all corporate communications from our Paris, Headquarters. You’ll also support the Director of External Affairs in their missions as well as the Marketing Manager, especially on competitor monitoring.

·  You’ll join a hard-working and friendly team, and enjoy a career where the role is varied, with lots of interactions within the organisation, across different countries.

The Communications Assistant – is a member of the Communications Team and reports directly to the Communications Manager.
You will:
·  Contribute to the writing of new articles and content for the Vigeo Eiris website, newsletter, and other external or internal communications that are within the mandate of the Communications Manager.
·  Support the Sales Team in Vigeo Eiris London with their objectives in organising events in accordance with the strategy and within the budget set by Vigeo Eiris:
o  Discussions and negotiation with organisers,
o  preparing materials (including promotional materials),
o  follow up pre & post event,
o  Social media suggestions to the Communications manager.
·  Proofing and editing of Group communications to ensure material is released in ‘correct ’English as directed by the Communications Manager.
·  You will be editing and proof reading documents written in English by those whose first language is not English and ensuring the final documents are in clear and plain English, in particular, for an external audience.
·  Support the Communication manager in the organisation of webinars: invitations, logistics, creation of content of presentations, hosting training, speakers etc.
·  Support the marketing manager in the monitoring of competitor activity on: communications, overall marketing messages, collateral, events, websites, publications, branding etc.
·  Support the Institutional Relations and External Affairs Directors in their respective roles and objectives.
·  Ensure Group branding and communication standards and systems are complied with, by Vigeo Eiris London

Profile:
-  Communications qualification or relevant demonstrable experience.
-  Experience of communication strategy development, channel management and audience segmentation.
-  Excellent oral and written ability in English).
-  Ability to proof read documents and write into plain English
-  A strong grasp of written English with demonstrable ability to write clearly and succinctly.
-  Ability to communicate clearly and convincingly possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
-  Experience of working across multiple stakeholder groups in different locations uniting them under a common brand identity.
-  Able to work autonomously, show initiative and be proactive.
-  Ability to manage a high volume workload.
-  Experience of planning and managing quantitative and qualitative measurements to evaluate communication effectiveness.
-  Proficiency in Microsoft: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, InDesign WordPress etc.
-  Knowledge of CSR / SRI Market in the UK would be desirable.
-  French language skills – written and oral desirable
