A/V REQUIREMENTS:

Robin requests the following audio/visual equipment…

•  Microphone – Robin will need either a wireless headset or clip-on lavaliere microphone. It’s also a good idea to have a wireless handheld microphone for backup, introductions, and any audience participation.

•  Screen & Projector – Robin uses videos & photos in his presentation so he’ll need a screen and projector large enough to cover the entire audience.

•  Computer – Robin brings his Apple Mac Book Air to connect to your projector and PA for playback of PowerPoint, which contains his music, videos, and photos. He’ll have with him the connectors for connecting his laptop to your projector cable (VGA, DVI, & HDMI).

•  Computer Audio – Robin will use his computer for audio playback of music & videos, so he’ll need to run his (1/8” mini-plug to ¼”) cable from his computer to your Direct Box (1) which goes to your PA System.

•  Guitar Audio – Robin brings an acoustic guitar and effects pedal with him, so he’ll need to run his (¼”) cable from his effects box to your Direct Box (2) going to your PA.

•  Table – Robin needs his computer nearby during his presentation, so he’ll need a small table (skirted) for his laptop placed just “off center” toward the front of stage left.

•  AC Power Cable – He’ll need a 3 outlet AC Power Cable run next to the table for his computer and guitar effects.

•  Lighting & Stage Design – Any stage design or backdrop and colored stage lighting helps “sell the sizzle” and would be a great add-on, but if that’s not available please make sure both the stage & audience are well lit.

•  Video Recording - Videotaping is welcomed as long as Robin receives a digital copy of the Master Recording via a QuickTime file or DVD. Client may not sell or distribute the video, but is welcome to show employees or membership of the organization.

•  Sound Check - Robin needs at least 60 minutes to set up his equipment and do a sound check, so please allow for this time where he has access to the room (with the sound technician) before attendees enter. Also, it’s important that the sound technician be in the room for the start of the program just in case of any technical difficulties.

·  FYI - all audio for videotaping should come from the main PA Mixer to Camera Audio Input #1 to include Robin’s Music, Guitar & Voice. Camera Audio Input #2 should come from the Camera Shotgun Microphone in order to pick up the ambient sounds of the audience. (If there are any questions about this, please have the AV Technicians discuss w/Robin). J
