Educational Track Lead (Full Day) – 7 Positions

Lead Networking facilitators will be responsible for facilitating opening ice breakers and closing activities for each of the three sessions of a given educational track. This position requires the facilitator attend a pre-event training on August 17th and attend all three sessions of one track.

Criteria

  • Familiarity withCraigslist Foundation and Nonprofit Boot Camp
  • Dynamic presence that can mobilize 100+ people
  • Experience as a large group facilitator
  • Ability to facilitate ice breakers
  • Ability to maintain objective and effective role with group
  • Ability to keep a large group on time and task
  • Ability to create an environment that fosters learning, using appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to facilitate learning and gain commitment
  • Available for all three workshops
  • Provide mentoring, when possible, to co-facilitator as an opportunity learning
  • Must attend pre-event Friday night training, conducted by Dreamfish

Educational Track Co-Facilitator (Full Day) – 7 Positions

Networking Co-Facilitators are responsible for assisting the Lead facilitator in directing the closing activity of each of the three workshops in a given educational track. This position requires the co-facilitator attend a pre-event facilitation training on August 17th and attend all three workshops in one track.

Criteria

  • Familiarity with Craigslist Foundation and Nonprofit Boot Camp
  • Experience with any level of prior facilitation of a group and/or experience participating in a large group meeting (over 50 people)
  • Able to track time and monitor the activity of a large group
  • Provide support to Lead Facilitator in mobilizing the closing activity of the group
  • Desire to learn about large group facilitation
  • Must attend pre-event afternoon training on August 17th, conducted by Dreamfish

Networking Facilitators (1/2 Day) – 15-20 Positions

Networking Hosts are responsible for supporting a large-scale Boot Camp networking activity. Hosts will float between several small group conversations designed to foster and promote collaboration and support amongst attendees in specific topic areas.This position requires the facilitator to attend a pre-event training on Friday, August 17th.

  • Ability to maintain objective and effective role with group
  • Must attend pre-event Friday night training conducted by Dreamfish
