Nominations will be considered based on the information provided on this form by the CCF Awards Panel. Nominations will be judged against the four criteria below.
  1. Community: Projects are done by the community, not to the community. Community members will have been involved at all stages of the project, from conception and design to delivery and evaluation.
  2. Carbon: Projects enable the community to make measurable reductions in carbon emissions.
  3. Legacy: Projects are mindful of ensuring a lasting legacy by working to ensure there is lasting impact in terms of carbon reduction and community capacity and motivation to take action on climate change.
  4. Climate Literacy: Projects work to raise knowledge and awareness of climate change in the community, motivating people to take positive action.

An important element of the Climate Challenge Fund is the creation of a network of communities across Scotland that are taking action on Climate Change.
