(1) Warm-up Activity – Short Answer: Warm-ups should be written on same sheet of paper throughout the week, will be collected at the end of the week. For today’s warmup, answer the question ¿Qué haces por la mañana? by indicating the first 3 things you do when you get up in the morning. Include the time and time of day in your responses:
Por ejemplo: ¿Qué haces por la mañana?
- Primero (First) me despierto a las cinco y media de la mañana.
- Después (After) me ducho a las…
- Luego (Later) me visto a las…
(2) Discuss Ch. 2 Elective Assessment: Refer to handout entitled ‘Chapter 2 Elective Assessment Options’ distributed in class and uploaded on our class homepage.
(3) Review film assignment expectations: Your film assignment – due upon the conclusion of the movie – is to right out 20 parts to Ferris’s daily routine. Be sure to conjugate all of your verbs in the 3rd person singular (el/ella) and to guestimate a time/time of day. Your first three parts are done for you below; follow my example:
- Ferris se despierta a las cinco y media de la mañana.
- Ferris se levanta a las cinco y treinta y cinco de la mañana.
- Ferris se ducha a las cinco y cuarenta de la mañana.
