TREASURER’S REPORT
Treasurer Eric St. Amand
· Eric handed out treasure’s report in the new format for review by all members.
· All bills are paid to date
· Have not received a bill from the trash company since April – forgot to pick up trash 2x in April
· Agreed to send a demand for invoice letter by end of November for payment otherwise will consider a donation to the SGSL
· John Zazzaro motioned to accept Bill Zesut seconded.
FIELD MAINTENANCE REPORT
Kevin Rogers
· Concession Stand Project – Kevin update everyone on what the project consisted of (redoing the hood and suppression system) and why we were doing this (the town needed us to be up to code before next season).
o Vendor has agreed to deal directly with the Town and Fire Marshall and take responsibility for all approvals and permits
o Will go through a walk-through of the work
o Demo to begin in November (fall field clean up)
o Additional expenses for exhaust, hood, flashing, suppression, table, sink, shelving etc.
o Still looking for a plumber to volunteer their time
o There was a discussion regarding the cost vs. value of redoing the concession stand. Although the total project is estimated at around $12k and the annual rec season revenue is around $6k, the convenience of having a concession stand for players and their families; the value at current pricing allowing it to be an affordable option; and ongoing year over year revenue makes balances the upfront costs.
· Hot Water Tank needs to be replaced – estimated cost $1500-$2000
· Still waiting on Paul M.’s friend to take old truckers
· Fall Clean Up – November 9th 9:00 AM – rain date November 10th
o Send an email – include need of plumber
o Get list of what needs to get done
· Fields will be fertilized on Monday Oct. 14th

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Vice President Janet Zesut
· Membership Drive – Janet spoke about the need to increase the members of the BOD and to interest in the Open Executive Board Positions. She spoke about the email that went out to all current BOD and to the SGSL email distribution list regarding the lack of volunteers in the SGSL and possible cuts to the program if additional volunteers are not recruited. She thanked all of the guest in attendance for supporting the SGSL and stepping up to find out how they can help and what they can do. She reviewed the open E-Board member positions and Jim Sarantides spoke about that not one person has to do every item under the responsibilities of each position. There are many things that can be delegated. How to become a Board Member and how E-Board members are elected were reviewed. It was announced that guest who wish to become Board Members can do so at the November meeting.
· A motion was be put forward to move the annual elections to December.
o The Motion was made by Mark Rocha and seconded by Jim Sarantides and passed with all BOD in favor and none against.
OLD BUSINESS UPDATES
NEW BUSINESS
President Vinny Greco
· Winter Clinics – Vinny updated the status of his talks with Jen @ USA Elite regarding Winter Clinics. It was discussed reducing the subsidy to pitchers only depending on the number of registered players. Vinny and Eric will work out the numbers.
· The next meeting will be held on Tuesday November 12th at 7:00 PM – place TBD
· We will have a meeting on December 3rd, to vote in new Executive Board Members
