Dear MrAlty

Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Request for Information - South Tyneside CCG

Thank you for your request received by North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) on 02 April 2015 for information held by South Tyneside CCG under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please find the information you requested on behalf of South Tyneside CCG as follows;

I am interested in the Primary Care OOH Services delivered by your CCG.

The national quality requirement for face-to-face consultations in out of hours services is NQR12 (A, B&C). This performance target is measured and reported for both consultations in (1) a treatment centre and (2) in the patient's home.

Please can you answer the following questions under the Freedom of Information (FOI) act?

1)Please can you confirm who the contract holder is for the Primary Care OOH Services delivered by your CCG?

NECS reply: Northern Doctors.

2)Please can you tell me whether the provider has achieved NQR12 (A, B&C) targets for treatment centre visits in for the 2014/15 financial year (where data is available at time of FOI)?

NECS reply: Since the introduction of the NHS 111 service, a significant proportion of calls to the put of hours service are triaged by the 111 service, therefore the NQ12 is no longer valid.

3)Please can you tell me whether the provider has achieved NQR12 (A, B&C) targets for patient’s home visits for the 2014/15 financial year (where data is available at time of FOI)?

NECS reply: Please see answer to Q2.

4)Please can you tell me in which months the NQR12 (A,B&C) targets were achieved for the 2014/15 financial year (where data is available at time of FOI)?

NECS reply: Please see answer to Q2.

5)Please can you tell me whether the overall NQR12 (A, B&C) targets have been achieved for the 2014/15 financial year (where data is available at time of FOI)?

NECS reply: Please see answer to Q2.
