BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

Notice of Public Hearing for the proposed amendment to the }

2015 Annual Construction Program (ACP) and 2015-2020 } Resolution No. 15-

Six Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) }

WHEREAS, RCW 36.81.121 requires the legislative authority of each county to prepare and adopt a transportation improvement program that includes proposed road and bridge construction work for the ensuing six calendar years and further stipulates that revisions be approved only after a public hearing; and

WHEREAS, the 2015 ACP and 2015-2020 TIP for road and bridge construction were adopted by Resolution 14-306 on November 17, 2014; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the 2015 ACP and 2015-2020 TIP to adjust the construction funding categories reflecting increases in funding to the Surface Transportation Bridge Program (STP(BR)) from $185,000 to $452,000 for the Pe Ell McDonald Road and Oyler Road bridge scour projects, Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funding from $800,000 to $1,322,000 for the 2015 County Safety Program project, and county funding by adding the Coughlin Road - Bridge #36 Deck Replacement project to the programs in the amount of $10,000, and updates information and funding sources for all projects; and

WHEREAS, on the 26th day of March 2015, the proposed amendments to the 2015 ACP and 2015-2020 TIP were submitted to the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Lewis County Washington; and

WHEREAS, the reports and related materials have been reviewed by the Board and found appropriate for further proceedings.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 20th day of April 2015 at or after the hour of 10:00 AM, in the Commissioners Hearing Room on the 2nd floor of the Historic Courthouse in Chehalis, Washington has been fixed by the Board as the time and place for the hearing on amending the 2015 ACP and 2015-2020 TIP, when and where all persons may appear and be heard upon the programs; and that the Clerk of the Board is hereby instructed to proceed with all necessary notifications, posting and publication.
