I, Ms. Asher, have earned my Bachelors of Science degree in “Kinesiology” from San DiegoStateUniversity (Go Aztecs!)with an emphasis in Physical Education. Having several years teaching experience, I am eager to start this school year with several exciting activities and lessons. The 8th grade curriculum will include: Team Sports, Skill Development, Sport Strategies, Fitness/Fitness Planning, Cooperative Games, Rhythmic Activities, Character Counts and more.
My personal goal is for each student to enjoy physical activity, giving forth their best effort, and acquiring a lifelong love of physical and recreational activity while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
I look forward to meeting each of you, and to a great and exciting 2017-18 school year!
