Our Itinerary
Sunday, Aug. 26
Leave from New London & Old Saybrook by motorcoach to the airport for our flight to London.
Monday, Aug. 27
Arrive in London where we will be met and transferred to our hotel, balance of the day at leisure.
Tuesday, Aug. 28
Breakfast at our hotel. Today we have a tour of the British capital and a sightseeing tour that reveals the highlights of the city. You will join a local guide for a drive through London, viewing historic monuments, bustling squares and the royal palace.
Wednesday, Aug. 29 - London, Stonehenge, Bath, Bristol
Head to Salisbury and see the elegant cathedral. Then on to visit Stonehenge. Travel to Bath, admire the Georgian architecture and visit the Roman Baths. In Bristol, relish a pub meal and drinks at a Welcome Pub reception.(continental B, welcome pub reception)
Thursday, Aug. 30 – Bristol, Chester, Lake District
Head north to Chester to see the Roman Walls, the cathedral and the black and white timbered buildings. Then on to the Lake District. (B, D)
Friday, Aug. 31 – Lake District, Grasmere, Edinburgh, Scotland
Visit Grasmere where the poet William Wordsworth is buried. Then head to the Scottish border and Gretna Green. Continue on to Edinburgh. (B)
Saturday, Sept. 1 – Edinburgh sightseeing & at leisure
Discover elegant Edinburgh on a sightseeing tour with a local guide, sightseeing the Royal Mile, Holyrood House and Arthur’s Seat, then visit the splendid castle. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)
Sunday, Sept. 2 – Edinburgh ,York – England
View the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey near the Scottish border. Then traverse Northumberland National Park on your way to York. See York Minister and the famous Shambles. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner. (B, D)
Monday, Sept. 3 – York, Stratford, London
In Coventry, hear the tale of Lady Godiva. Then on to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon to visit his birthplace and see Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Travel through the Cotswold countryside on the way back to London. (B)
Tuesday, Sept. 4
You will be transferred to the airport for our flight back to the USA where our motorcoach awaits us.

After May 24, 2012 the following cancellation penalties will apply:
May 25 to June 25, 2012 - $400 per person
June 26 to July 25, 2012 - $900 per person
After July 25, 2012 – no refund

The insurance also includes accident and illness medical expense, baggage protection and emergency evacuation while abroad. Premiums are based on your age and total cost of your trip. Responsibility and Liability: Klingerman Travel, Inc. is responsible to its passengers as set forth below. Klingerman Travel, Inc. (hereafter named KTI) is
Responsible for arranging and providing all services and accommodations offered in connection with this trip. However, in no cases does KTI own, operate
or control any of the firms or vendors which will provide goods and services for the trip (hotels, air or land transportation, meals, etc.) or for any option which
may be available (optional side trips, car rentals, etc) KTI has not priced the trip or option to allow KTI to guarantee against the failure or negligence of any
such firms. Hotel rooms are reserved on a first come, first served basis. KTI has no control over how specific rooms are assigned. While hotels are asked to
take into account special room requests. KTI cannot guarantee any requests for type of bedding, views, etc. since it is not within control to do so. Each
participant agrees to seek redress or remedies directly with the supplier and not to hold KTI liable in the absense of its negligence which results directly or
indirectly from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise of (1) which any entity which is to or doesn’t provide goods or services for the trip or any
available option (e.g. the quality of services, cleanliness of a hotel, beach, sightseeing attraction, ship, aircraft, bus or any other conveyances, quality of food
problems regarding needs or animals, damaged, lost or delayed luggage, hotel overbooking (flight delays, labor unrest, acts of criminals or terrorism, etc)
or any other third party Each participant also agrees not to hold KTI liable for circumstances beyond its control (mechanical failures, strikes, etc.)
or for acts of God (weather, natural disasters,etc) Each participant acknowledges that neither KTI nor its agents have made any representation or promise
with respect to the arrangements described except as expressly setforth in KTI’s literature, unless such agreement is in writing and signed by an officer of
KTI. KTI reserves the right to decline, for any lawful reason, to accept or retain any person as a participant on a trip (or option), whereupon KTI’s only
obligation shall be to refund to such person that portion or payment allowable to the unused services.
