Welcome

We have had a great first term at Pre-school and all the children have settled into pre-school really well, please remember if you have any concerns please speak to your child’s key person or a member of staff if they are not available. Now we are into our winter term, the weather changes very quickly can you please ensure that the children bring a waterproof coat to pre-school and a change of clothes, we still go outside in all weathers!! Remember please name clothes and bags.

Planning and Activities

This term we will be covering topics ‘Wizards, witches and magic’ ‘Fireworks’, ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’ , ‘The dark’ and of course ‘Christmas’! Remember if you have any resources that go with any of the topics we are planning please let us know, resources are always appreciated.

Parent Partnership and Healthy Early Years

We like to encourage the children to be independent at pre-school such as putting on their own shoes; please can you put your child in shoes that they will be able to put on by themselves such as shoes with Velcro straps or shoes they can slip on.

Toys from home

We have children that are brining toys into pre-school. We know that for some this is a comfort for them, but it is causing some upset for some children. If a child brings in a toy then we would like them to put it into the special basket that is in the window and it will stay in the basket until the child goes home.

Cake Sale

A big thank you to all the parents and friends that supported the pre-school in the first fundraising event of the year £165.52 from the cake sale, this money goes towards resources for the pre-school.

Bags2school

Tuesday 29th November there will be a collection from ‘Bags 2 School’. They pay schools and charities for bags of jumble, please fill as many bags as possible a bag will be sent home with each child if you need more them please speak to a member of staff (bin bags are fine). This has been a great fundraising event for the Pre-school in previous collections.

Please bring to pre-school either on Friday 25th November at 3pm, Monday 28th November between 9am-1pm or just before 9am on Tuesday 29th November.
