Los Alamitos High School PTSA Senior Scholarship 2016-2017

The Los Alamitos High School PTSA is offering Scholarships to our Los Al seniors graduating in 2016. This award is to be used to further the student’s education at an accredited college or university, community college, trade, or technical school.

This PTSA Scholarship recognizes seniors who have been actively involved in volunteer service in the school and community, in extra-curricular activities and in leadership positions at LAHS, and does not have a grade point average restriction or requirement. To qualify for this scholarship, you must be a Los Alamitos High School PTSA member. Scholarship readers will be looking for examples of effort and achievement, for students whoexhibit school pride, and volunteer experiences in either LAHS or the general community (or both).

General Program Rules:

  1. Student must be a dues paying member of the Los Alamitos High School PTSA prior to 2-1-17.
  2. Student must be eligible to graduate with the 2016 Los Alamitos High School Class.
  3. Student must be pursuing a post-high school education.
  4. While this document may be used to compose your responses, in order to be considered for the scholarship you must type or paste your responses into the Scholarship Application Submission form found on the LAHS PTSA Website.

The application will be disqualified if the General Program Rules are not followed.

The PTSA scholarship recipients will receive their award at the Los Alamitos High School Award Night, and recipients will be expected to attend.

Completed applications must be submitted to the website by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday,February 28th, 2017. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
