Guidelines for Final Exam Project:

  1. Presentation requires:

-12 slides minimum / 20 slides maximum for individual general American Studies / Civics class project.

-15 slides minimum / 25 slides maximum for individual honors class project.

-18 slides minimum / 30 slides maximum for Arts & Humanities course

-25 slides minimum / 35 slides maximum for Arts & Humanities Honors course.

  • Total number of slides do not include introduction slide, question and answer slides, picture slides or bibliography slide. Slide total is for informational slides only.
  1. Each slide should contain one or more of the following items:

-Sound clips (music, quotes, videos, etc…)

-Video clips

-Pictures (clip art, photos, graphics, animations,etc…)

-Biographical Information (achievements, downfalls, etc…)

-Backgrounds (pictures, colors, different texts, etc…)

-Different fonts (types, colors, and sizes)

-Different page layouts

-Different transitions to each page

-Headings and / or sub-headings

-Bullet points

  1. PresentationMUSTbe saved to a personal flash drive to ensure no loss of work.
  2. Project is due: 4th Quarter
  3. Presenters must have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the topic being presented in order to answer any questions that the class, or teacher, may have, and so that an accurate and complete presentation can be made.
  4. A question and answer period will occur during and after each presentation.
  5. Presenters should engage their audience during presentation (i.e. get the students involved).
  6. Students will be required to provide documentation of websites that were used for obtaining information.(websites must be hyperlinked for teacher to check and explore)
  7. The project will be counted as a final exam grade and will take the place of a written final exam. (25% of your final grade)
