The NYSPI Biostatistics Seminar series will resume on January 21, 2009, for the 2009 Spring semester. The list of our spring semester speakers is shown on the next page. You are cordially invited to attend these seminars.
These seminars are held every Tuesday, 3:00PM-4:00PM, in the Multi-Purpose Room (6602) of the New PI Building, with coffee served 2:45PM-3:00PM and post-seminar reception 4:00PM-4:30PM. Please note that the time for these seminars is changed from the time we used to have in previous semesters.
Please note also a one-time exception for the first seminar of the semester, which will be held on 1/21 (a Wednesday instead of a Tuesday), in the Board Room (6601) in the New PI Building, 3:30PM-4:30PM, with corresponding changes to coffee and reception.
I would like to thank and congratulate Dr. Henian Chen, our seminar chair for the spring semester, for his hard work and success in inviting a very exciting cast of speakers.

This seminar series aims to serve as a forum of shared learning experience for biostatisticians and PI investigators and research staff who are not biostatisticians but are interested in biostatistics. Please attend the seminars, and participate in the discussions, if you can. With permission of the speaker, we will videotape the presentations for those who are interested but cannot attend. Please contact Ms. Kelly Roska if you like to borrow a tape for viewing.
