ACADEMY UNIFORM

All students attending the Academy are required to wear the Academy uniform. Uniform can be purchased from Clive Mark Schoolwear Ltd.

Blazer / A plain navy blue blazer with an embroidered school badge
Shirt and tie / Light blue shirt tucked into the trousers, skirt or dress worn with a tie knotted correctly down to waist.
Jumper (optional) / Grey v-necked jumper with the Academy’s logo.
No other patterns or logos.
No sweatshirts, cardigans or round necks.
Plain grey formal school trousers or skirt / Trousers and skirts must be worn with a belt on the waist line (if required). Only plain belt buckles are allowed and skirts or tunic/pinafore dresses must be worn at knee length.
Jeans, jean cut trousers, combat trousers, jogging trousers or combat trousers are not allowed.
Socks / Socks must be plain black/grey/navy blue.
Plain black formal shoes / Trainers, trainer design shoes, walking boots, snow boots, suede shoes/boots, open-toe shoes, platforms, sandals, stiletto or kitten heels etc. are notallowed. Any footwear deemed inadequate is notallowed.
Outdoor coats/hats / Outdoor wear should be plain navy, grey, blue or black with no lettering or pictures. Hoodies, sports tops, denim or leather jackets are not allowed.
Fluorescent or bright coloured hats and baseball caps are not allowed.
Hats are also not allowed to be worn inside the school building.
Plain light blue head scarf (optional) / A plain cotton style scarf with no logos or trimmings. No woven fabric is allowed. The scarf must be worn without any multi coloured bands underneath.
Hair styles/colour / Artificial hair colouring that the Academy deems to be inappropriate, such as bright and non-natural looking colours, are not allowed.
Haircuts with patterns cut into the hair, Mohican haircuts or other such drastic haircuts are not allowed. Shaven patterns in eyebrows are not allowed.
Jewellery / Only one pair of small plain studs may be worn in pierced ears; one small plain nose stud and a watch can be worn. No other jewellery is allowed.
Bags / Academy bags should be appropriate and big enough for students to carry books, to and from the Academy. Handbags are not allowed.
MOBILE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ACADEMY

If your child does not have the correct uniform, spare uniform will be provided or they will be sent home to change and will only be allowed to return to the Academy in the correct uniform. Incorrect uniform may be confiscated and if not returned and collected within a reasonable time, may be donated to charity.

The Principal and the senior team reserve the right to determine whether any aspect of uniform is suitable for the Academy.
