This training programme prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide, confidently ask them about the topic of suicide and connect them with suicide first aid resources.

Please note:Safe talk request for persons recently bereaved or sensitive to this subject not to attend and also request strict punctuality. Participants arriving after 10 am cannot be admitted.

An introductory workshop in compassion fatigue.

Compassion fatigue describes the 2 overall experience of emotional and physical fatigue that people who care for others experience when due to chronic use of empathy when engaging with service users who are suffering in some way “(Newell and Mc Neil, 2010).

This two hour workshop by Jennifer Reidy (Compassion fatigue Ireland) will focus on compassion fatigue, preventing burn out in the workplace and self care for health professionals .
