Scale11 runs from 11 to 15 June at Hall 27 under the motto of “Ready – Steady – Go” as part of the d!tec section of the show.

Startup association plays key role

Deutsche Messe’s main partner in the design and development of “scale11”is the German Association of Startups, which will be staginginfo and discussion events at the Expert Stage in Hall 27 on several days at CeBIT. The themed panel discussions, featuring representatives of startups and government as well asinvestors and influencers, are sure to be of particular interest.

New: Startup TV

For the first time, there will be a daily trade fair TV program which reports on newcomers, topics and backgrounds involving the startup scene for roughlyan hour in the early afternoon – live from Hall 27 and broadcastvia the communication channels of the Startup Association’s media partners.

Founders Fight Club picks best startups

If you are courageous enough to compete with other young companies on an open stage, you can take part in the “war of words”at the Founders Fight Club. In each contest, two founders willfight for the recognition of the expert jury in an entrepreneurial battle of words. Further highlights at the Founders Fight Club include topic and expert panels as well as startup pitches on scale11’s own “Startup Stage”. All of the startupsexhibiting at scale11duringCEBIT 2018are eligible to participate.

F***up Nightsputs the spotlight on… failure!

Young companies are not always successful – there are flops as well. The talks presented at the so-called F***up Nights reveal that failures are a part of life, and there is much to be learned from them. In presentation slots lasting a maximum of 15 minuteson Wednesday, 13 June, startups will tell their respective stories of failure and offer valuable advice for the future.

The F***up Nights are an internationally known format from Mexico, where entrepreneurs speak openly about their mistakes and failures. The idea behind this is that startups can learn more from a chronicle of failure than a simple success story.

Maybe evensomeone like Yannick Kwik is capable of learning from failure. This highly successful founder and global CEOof F***up Nights will be visiting CeBIT in June 2018 to form his own picture of the creativity, success and failure of the startups featured there.

Investors Club: A VIP zone for potential investors

Scale11will feature a special area available toall companies and potential investors who wantto meet with their chosen startups and conduct confidential conversations in an exclusive, quiet atmosphere. If you as a company would like to participate, you can purchase the Investors Club tickets for 300 euros via the CeBIT website as of February 2018.
