OPS/001 COMMUNICATIONS CENTER MAINTENANCE
§ Daily cleanup of communications center includes: sweep/mop, dust, empty trash (wash if needed), clean bathrooms, clean/vacuum bedrooms.
§ Clean out refrigerators in communications center at end of each tour.
OPS/002 NOTIFICATIONS
§ Situations that require the "Notification List" are made by phone call or pager (one time page).
§ Pager notifications will include: incident type, location, time began, and description of what has happened.
OPS/003 AUDIO TESTS
§ Audio test conducted daily at 0700 and 1900 hours.
§ Radio test conducted daily at 0705 hours.
§ Circuit test is conducted daily at 0600 hours to serve as wake up call and to ensure operation of circuit.
§ Station printer and hot printer tests are conducted daily between 0645 and 0700 hours.
OPS/004 DAILY OPERATIONS
§ The Shift Supervisor or Lead Dispatcher changes recorder tapes as needed and tapes are kept indefinitely.
§ The dispatch Shift Supervisor maintains the Log Book, FMIS FIRLOG., and cycle sheets for each employee.
§ Fuel readings are reported to the Maintenance Shop through the Intranet every Wednesday and the 1st day of each month by 0900 hours.
§ If the Intranet is down, fuel readings are called into dispatch and faxed to Maintenance Shop by 0900 hours.
§ Oxygen Cascade readings are reported to Maintenance Shop through the Intranet every Monday & Thursday morning by 0900.
§ If Intranet is down, high, medium, and low oxygen cascade readings are phoned into Dispatch, who faxes readings to Maintenance Shop by 0900.
OPS/005 EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
§ Dispatcher uses a direct line to Police Department when company requests them (must include nature of call).
§ The direct line from the water department to dispatch is used to give dispatchers info on water line breaks, hydrants out, etc.
§ ONG is notified by direct line from dispatch AFTER a company has been dispatched on a gas leak or CO detector check.
§ Dispatch uses direct line to OG&E when company requests them.
§ If MDTs are changed out, dispatch will reassign the MDT to their company.
OPS/006 EMERGENCY GENERATOR
§ If emergency generator does not kick on during power outage, generator must be manually switched on (this will cause delay of a few minutes in which NO form of communications will be possible).
