Role:-
  • Developing and implementing the protocol specified by 3GPP in the physical layer of LTE in C programming
  • Proposing innovative technical and functional specifications as well as designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting and debugging of the link level architecture.

Description: This project is undertaken for developing a debugging tool for the verification of the LTE standards. This application allows the user to configure the parameters of the LTE eNodeB, UE and generate the time domain samplestransmitting from AD9361 RF section. Implemented this on ZedBoard with ARM core and Linux ported on it. The same is tested with Agilent Spectrum Analyzer with AD9361 RF module for transmitter validation.

Sep’12 – Feb’13 with Safran Engineering Services India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore on contractual basis

Role:-

  • Developing the test cases for testing the Level-A software in Avionics
  • Addressing clients’ issues and re-verifying the test cases as per the reply for the anomalies raised during testing.
  • Performing Technical Control of the test cases developed by the testers.
  • Performing the Quality Analysis by sampling test modules and certifying the delivery of the projects.

Highlights:-

  • Understanding DO178-B standards of coding and testing.
  • Found few major bugs in the code, and getting acceptance by the customer
  • Tested two versions of the design documentation.
  • Promoted as Technical Controller with the performance shown as tester.
  • Fixed few critical issues with the knowledge of ADA programming and suggested customer for bug fixes.
  • Moved to Software Quality Analysis with the performance shown in my first project.

Description: This project was undertaken to test the Level-A software which is used in Engine control of the helicopters manufactured by the client. Unit level testing is done for the modules which are given by the customer using the tool Rational Real Time, generating the test reports with complete coverage. As the software is classified as Level-A security, the testing has to be done very particularly and taking every anomaly very serious.

Description: This project was undertaken to verify the Level-A design of the Engine Control and the Landing Gear of the aircraft Lear Jet 200. Verification of the high level requirements are taken up in this activity and verification is done at overall system level.

May’10 – Nov’11 with SG Computers, Hyderabad as Technical Supervisor and Networking Administrator

Role:-

  • Served as Technical Supervisor, training people how to troubleshoot the PC related issues
  • Direct communication with the clients and increasing the client bank

Highlights:-

  • Designed a system which can run on its own without much supervisory work
  • Developed a wing as its sister concern company right from the design and architecture of the new establishment
  • Visited many client places for providing solutions for their computer related (hardware and software) installs

Project at C-DAC

USB Serial Port – Implemented firmware of the USB initialization as a serial port (virtual communication port) which can work in Linux and Windows platforms as well.

Major Project

Gesture Capturing and Enacting Robot – a robotic project done in association with ‘Kreatorz Club’, a robotics club of MVGR. It is a humanoid, which can be controlled by simple human gestures. Image acquisition device is used as the sensing device to capture human gestures. It is an inter-departmental college project which will be continued by further batches.
