EXPERIENCE

1999 – Present Director of Photography / Editor

American Museum of Natural History

Responsible for shooting and editing over 35 short High Definition documentaries about scientists working in the field, and the subjects of their studies. Field production took place over 6 continents, from the South Pole to glaciers at 18,000 feet in Peru, including Mongolia, Thailand, Columbia, Madagascar, Greenland, and others. Offline edited shows on both AVID and Final Cut Pro. Performed online edit (including color correction), and supervised ProTools mix. Shows distributed to over 40 museum and science centers via HD IP distribution system. Library of footage has since been licensed to National Geographic.

1993 – Present Cameraman / Editor

Freelancer for various news, satellite, and commercial venues such as CBS, BBC, Reuters, 60 Minutes, Al Jazeera. Experienced in both studio and field lighting.

2/96 – 6/98Cameraman / Editor

QVC

Advance EFP crew for live remote satellite broadcasts. Three nationwide tours including high profile events such as Super Bowl XXXII, and Warner Brother’s “Batman Forever” premiere. Responsible for lighting, shooting, and editing human-interest packages to be rolled into live show.
