Sew the two sides together to form the center back seam.

For the straps, chain 15 onto top edge, 4cm from center back seam, and fasten at the corresponding space on the front. Work picots on both sides of chain, as on the top and bottom edges of slip. Do this for second strap.

Note: Original directions instruct you to make the the slip 8cm long before working the first eyelet row. This will barely cover the doll's derriere. I made mine 10cm, and it is a very suitable length for the clothes my dolls wear. After the first eyelet row, work the second row of eyelets and a row of picots.

You then thread silk ribbon through the eyelets. You may also useribbon for the straps instead of picots. tie a ribbon bow under the left breast.

I'll take pictures after I find some silk ribbon. I dont have any of suitable width now.

Enjoy!
