Short Answer Questions

Three of the four short answer questions will appear on the chapter three test. Be prepared to write at least 3 complete sentences to receive full credit. Note: Short answers will be worth 5 points.

1.  Does God make covenants with perfect people? List 3 people that God makes official covenants with and explain them in-depth: how they are not perfect and what kind of promise God makes with them.

2.  Give two specific ways in which Adam, Isaac, and Noah are each types of Jesus (i.e. foreshadow Jesus). Be sure to specify of whom you are speaking.

3.  Describe at least two differences in the Genesis creation accounts. Discuss the framework hypothesis (see Diagram on Genesis 1 in notes for reference) in terms of how Genesis 1 is organized. To received full points please be detailed.

4.  Describe in detail the basic storyline of the events that occur in Genesis 37-50 (i.e. the story of Joseph). Be sure to include in your answer how this story sets up the beginning of the book of Exodus that begins with the Israelites under Egyptian slavery.
