Dear 2015 Camp BLAST Staff Recruit,
We actively planning for Camp BLAST 2015 and YOU are on the list. WHY? Because we can’t do this without people committed to see kids come to know Christ! We need YOU, along with 59 others, called by God to serve Him by serving kids as counselors, assistant counselors, and camp support staff. If you have an interest, we need to hear from you.
The plan is to have a counselor and an assistant counselor for each cabin. Want to come as a team? Tell us who you would like to counsel with and we will work to honor your request. We continue to work to make the staff registration more efficient by providing the capabilities of completing the application electronically, reducing the need for lots of mailings and paperwork. We have included detailed instructions, so please read the instructions sheet carefully.
Some Camp BLAST details:
WHEN: July 20-24 (camp staff arrives on Sunday, July 19 for orientation)
WHERE: Michindoh Ministries in Hillsdale, Michigan
THEME: Infuse COST: $75 to help offset the cost of your food and housing
As camp grows near, we ask for your help with the following:
v Help in the search for qualified men and women who can serve as counselors and assistant counselors. If you know someone who would like to serve, feel free to email them the appropriate registration forms and instructions. Excitement is contagious – share your excitement over the opportunity to serve in this way!
v Stay connected by joining the Camp BLAST Staff group on Facebook.
v Begin praying regularly for our week of camp:
-For the Children – that God prepares their hearts and the way for them to attend
-For the camp director and Central Region staff as we seek God’s will in recruiting, staffing, and programming all details of camp.
-For the counselors, assistant counselors, camp staff, and Michindoh staff.
-For God to be honored in all that is said and done.

Camp BLAST Staff Application Instructions
Please read carefully as some procedures have changed
RETURNING APPLICANTS AGES 18 & OVER
1. Complete your Camp BLAST Staff Application Form
2. Complete the Criminal Records Authorization Check Form (this has to be completed even if you’ve completed it before)
3. $75 – Once you have completed your application and Criminal Records Authorization Check Form, please submit your $75 payment to your church camp coordinator (or, mail your check to the Central Region – address listed below)

RETURNING APPLICANTS AGES 16 & 17
1. Complete your Camp BLAST Staff Application Form
2. *Complete a Medical Authorization Form* - this form MUST be printed out in hardcopy and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
3. $75 – Once you have completed your application and Medical Authorization Form, please submit your $75 payment to your church camp coordinator (or, mail your check to the Central Region – address listed below)

FIRST TIME APPLICANTS
1. Complete the Camp BLAST Staff Application Form
2. Forward the Pastor Recommendation Form to your pastor to complete
3. ALL first time applicants must complete the appropriate (one for for ages 16/17 or the other for ages 18 & over) Child Protection Screening Form
4. *Complete a Medical Authorization Form* - if you are ages 16/17 this form MUST be printed out in hardcopy and signed by a parent or legal guardian. (Does not apply to those ages 18 & over)
5. $75 – Once you have completed your application, Medical Authorization Form (if applicable), or your Criminal Records Authorization Check Form (if applicable), and have a completed Pastor Recommendation Form, please submit your $75 payment to your church camp coordinator (or, mail your check to the Central Region – address listed below)
