NOTICE INVITING
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Directorate of Commercial Taxes is planning to modernize Chichira & Sonakania checkposts in Paschim Medinipore district, Duburdih checkpost in Burdwan district, Dalkhola checkpost in Uttar Dinajpur district and Barovisha checkpost in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. Expression of Interest is invited from qualified and experienced firms/organizations for the preparation of concept plan and design of modern checkposts. The scope of work would involve the following :a) To study and survey the selected checkposts and assess the feasibility of modernizing them.
b) To examine different alternatives of modernization of the checkposts and submit concept plan and design for the consideration of the Government.
General Terms & Conditions :
1. a) The short listed Firms/Organizations only will be issued the Letter of Invitation.
b) An Earnest Money Deposit of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft of a scheduled bank in favour of “Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, West Bengal “ should be enclosed along with the application.
c) The assignment shall be completed within 3 months from the date of issue of letter by the Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, West Bengal.
d) The Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, West Bengal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the expressions of interests. Mere submission of letter of Expression of Interest will not confer any right for accepting the offer.
e) The Earnest Money of the Firms/Organizations, whose Expression of Interest is not shortlisted will be returned to them without any interest within one month from the date of award of work to the successful party.
2. Firms/Organizations having experience designing/implementation of modernization of checkposts or projects of similar nature may submit application for Expression of Interest in two separate sealed envelopes. The first envelope should contain the following documents :
i) Company profile giving details of current activities and the certificate of registration.
ii) Details of the projects successfully implemented or taken up in the past and relevant details, if any.
iii) Annual Report including audited Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account statement for past three years.
The second sealed envelope should contain the financial proposal, super scribed “Financial Proposal”. Both the sealed envelopes should be sealed in a separate envelope and sent by Registered Post at the following address on or before 31st July, 2007.
