Annual Senior Scholarship
Application
PLEASE NOTE: The Middle River Community Club is “PROUD” to award a graduating senior with a $500.00 scholarship. (One or two awards will be given dependent on the number of applications and their qualifications.) In order to be considered for this scholarship, the following application must be filled out on or before April 13 and returned to Academic Advisor’s Office.
Qualifications for Application:
1. Your family must be members of the Middle River Community Club
2. You must be a graduating senior for the Middle River-Greenbush High School
3. You must be accepted into an institute for higher learning for the upcoming year
Applicants will be judged on the following criteria:
a) Involvement in the Middle River community
b) Involvement in your local church and youth organizations
c) Involvement in the GMR extra-curricular school activities
d) Involvement with senior citizens, youth, veterans, etc.
e) Involvement with family, community and our country in general
Scholarships will be awarded the 2nd semester of your 2nd year in college or trade school. You will be asked to send a copy of your grades along with an “update” letter as to your status in college or trade school. The applicant must be enrolled in the next quarter/semester in order to receive this award scholarship.
