PORTFOLIO

The time has come to complete the final phases of portfolios. Your portfolio is a representation of what you accomplished and how you grew as a student, a reader, and a writer this school year. You have been introduced to a wide array of literature this year and have also written on a number of topics—drawing connections, drawing conclusions, persuading an audience, or writing creatively, all as a way of demonstrating your knowledge and understanding of the cultures, writing styles, and topics studied.

Your portfolio is a major work in itself. It should be treated as carefully as you have treated the work you have completed and placed in your WIP folders. I will collect portfolios on Wednesday, 5.11.11 (1A) & Thursday, 5.12.11 (B day classes) at the start of class and NO LATER!!! Once your portfolio is handed in, it will be read, reviewed, and critiqued on a number of criteria; it is, after all, representative of you. Please review the criteria below and begin preparing your portfolio based on requirements and expectations below. Procrastination will only guarantee that you will be overwhelmed putting your portfolio together as the due date approaches. Portfolios count as 3 project grades!!!

*****Every piece of writing should have a title*****
