Elite Men Boxing Tournament

It is our great pleasure and honor to extend to you the invitation for participating in the "MEMORIAL VLLAZNIA 2018", which will be held from 03-07MAY 2018, in SHKODRA town (80 km north to Tirana), ALBANIA.

Albanian Boxing Federation in collaboration with the LOC is making full proof of the arrivals, departures of foreign team during their stay in SHKODER, Albania.

The Organizing Committee is proofing the best to make the upcoming event an unforgettable experience.

Your participation in this tournament shall help us to promote boxing at all levels.

Tournament Regulations:

- The tournament will be held according to the Competitions Rules of AIBA in 10 weight categories: 46-49, 52, 56, 60, 64, 69, 75, 81, 91, +91, kg.

- Boxer & R/J must have Valid AIBA international Record Book and medical exams up to date, and also a valid passport.

- Competitions format: Bouts consist 3 x 3 minutes rounds with one minute break between each round.

- New AIBA Scoring System, the 10-points Must System, will be used.

- All coaches must be the AIBA Certified Coaches and registered in the AIBA Database as LOC will check each Coach’s status at the time of registration.

- Age Classification: Elite Boxers (Men) between the ages of 19 and 40 will be eligible to compete (born 1 January 1978 - 31 December 1999).

Financial Conditions:

- Your team has to cover travel expenses to and from Shkoder, Albania

- Local transportation (during competition) in Shkoder, will be covered by the LOC of the tournament.

Room Rates for Team Delegations are as follows:

• For single occupancy (1 person per room) - 45 Euros per person, per day,

Including 3 meals.

• For double occupancy (2 persons per room) - 30 Euros per person, per day, including 3 meals.

- Each team can have the following number of officials in its delegation:

1 - 3 boxers: 1 coach

4 - 6 boxers: 2 coach + 1 AIBA R/J

7 - 8 boxers: 2 coach + 1 official + 1 AIBA R/J

- Rules and Deadlines:

Please fill the attached form of this invitation, print and send all back to the Organizing Committee, signed and sealed by the National Federation's President or Secretary General.

The Preliminary Entry Registration and Final Registration Form must be sent scanned to the email address: ot later than 25April2018. The Final Entry Form must include also the travel details.

Requirements:

a) All Boxer must bring along with them:

- Record Book with annual medicals duly completed

- National Passport

b) Each Team Delegation must bring:

- National flag 1 x 1.5 m

- National anthem (on flash drive or CD)

- Visa Issues:

Those countries that need entry visas for Albania (non European countries) must send us a list with the names of participants, birth dates, and the passports number not later than 15April 2018, also they have to contact Albania Embassies in their countries or the nearest Albanian Consulate as defined:

The organizing committee will provide all the necessary facilities for all the participating countries to enter in Albania.

To ensure and speed up the visa applications process, please fill the Final Entry Form correctly and send it to the LOC in due time. Based on this form the LOC will issues a formal letter to support and facilitate the visa procedure.
