SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

IMPORTANT

a-  From the moment timing & scoring does not receive a signal from a transponder the vehicle(s) associated with that transponder will not be monitored for the purposes of receiving times and/or a position(s) in any race(s).

b-  It is not FARA’s responsibility to inform anybody of a lack of a signal from a transponder.

c-  Bring your own tires to the track. Tire changer service will be available in the garage area.

d-  Don’t forget that the Long Course will be use at all times (With Banking)

e-  Gas Station with racing fuel at the track will be open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

1-  Cars must display FARA CLASS Stickers at all times.

2-  It is the responsibility to the entrant to submit the Transponder Number.

3-  In order to obtain the Track Seal to get onto the track, entrant must fill the Technical Form and submit it to the Technical Inspector.

4-  Garages and Pits will be assigned after Release Form is signed.

5-  Every entrant will have 5 (five) free ID Passes, for crew.

6-  Car Numbers will be the same for the season.

7-  Crew Members handling fuel must wear proper gear, helmet and mask.

8-  Not fuel or any other liquid leaks will be permitted.

9-  Speed Limit on Pit Lane is 45 MPH.

10- You SHALL NOT photograph, film or broadcast the Event or any part therefore any commercial or promotional purpose. In addition, no footage or images fobtained of this Event may be reproduced, sold, broadcast, commercially exploited, or distributed.

11- You are prohibited from selling or giving away merchandise, product, goods, or food. In addition, you are prohibited from providing catering, entertainment, press conferences, or other commercial or professional activities without the express prior written consent of FARA.

12- No individual under the age of 18 shall be allowed in any restricted area of the Premises (which shall include the track surface, pit areas, garage areas, run-off areas, trackside communications stations, and any other location as defined in generally accepted policies of liability coverage for motor sports entities), without a (1) Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement, (2) a Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement and (3) a Minor’s Assumption of Risk. Acknowledgement executed by each minor and such individual’s parent or legal guardian.

13- Garages will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Every one must exit Premises by 7 p.m.

14- You are responsible for the safeguarding of your equipment at all times. You may leave the equipment and race cars overnight but at your own risk. Although security may be provided, neither Homestead-Miami Speedway not FARA are responsible for any theft or casualty.

15- There are no rain checks. If a portion or all the activities are cancelled to bad weather, FARA may or may not refund a portion of the entry fee depending on the fee charged by Homestead-Miami Speedway to FARA. The amount, if any, that may be refunded, is at the sole discretion of FARA.

16- No alcoholic beverages during the event. Anyone acting in an unruly way, using foul language, or disturbing other participants or attendees may be expulsed from the premises and FARA has the discretion to penalize the Team including disqualification.

17- Each driver must possess the requisite prior racing experience and be licensed by recognized association such as the FIA, IMSA, SCCA, among others. FARA has the absolute discretion in determining if the driver meets these qualifications. Teams are urged to submit driver resumes as soon as possible to FARA for evaluation. If FARA determines that a driver is driving in a manner that places others at risk during the Event, that driver shall not be permitted to continue driving.

18- You acknowledge that FARA has the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, add, or delete any of the rules and regulations as it deems necessary in the best interest of the sport, competition, and safety. The word “You” or “you” as used in these rules and regulations means you and any other member or guest of your team including the drivers.

19- The word “FARA” includes any and all employees, agents, sub-contractors, principals, or anyone else acting on its behalf.

20- Any protest or complaint that has to do with the classification of cars MUST be made by 6:00 PM on Saturday Afternoon to Race Director.

21- All results that are announced at the end of the Event are UNOFFICIAL until posted by FARA. Any protest or complaint must be made by 6:00 P.M. on Sunday to the Race Director.

22- All photographers and camera personnel must wear an identifying vest while taking pictures on the course provided by FARA.

BY SIGNING THE ENTRANT SIGN-OFF SHEET I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD EACH AND EVERY OF THE FOREGOING RULES AND REGULATIONS. I AGREE THAT EVERY MEMBER OF THE TEAM WILL ABIDE BY THEM.
