The employee must provide current documentation (actual card) upon renewal to their manager. Departments will identify employees whose job responsibilities specify the need for them to become an AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP Instructor.

Current Employees:

Employees who attend AHA courses outside of JHS must attend an approved AHA training program and present an original AHA card to their manager to ensure timely documentation and tracking. Original will be returned to employee upon verification of legitimacy and copy is made. Managers will provide a copy of the card (front and back) obtained externally to Education and Development for entry into the current LMS (Learning Management System).
