Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., A Government of Karnataka Enterprise, intends to appoint Authorized dealers within and outside India for sale of its exquisite handicraft products in various crafts of Sandalwood, Rosewood, Shivaniwood, Bronze, Bidri, Perfumes,Agarbathis and many more. The details of the places proposed for appointing Authorized Dealers, prescribed application form and Terms & Conditions can be obtained from this office or downloaded from our website: The interested parties who wish to be appointed as the authorized dealers may reply within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement, i.e. on or before 18.07.2017. The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject all applications without giving any reasons whatsoever.

Terms and Conditions for appointing Authorized dealers for sale of “Cauvery” Handicraft Products.

  1. The Authorized Dealer to be appointed by KSHDCL shall enter into an with KSHDCL and the agreement shall come into force from the date of signing of MOU.
  2. The Authorized dealer appointed by KSHDC shall sell the handicraft products supplied by KSHDCL in its showroom with a proper and prominent display of handicraft products supplied.
  3. The Authorized dealer to be appointed by KSHDCL shall sell the handicraft products only at the prices fixed by KSHDCL (at tag price).
  4. The Authorized dealer to be appointed shall deploy its sales team for sale of KSHDC products at its cost and risk.
  5. The Authorized dealer to be appointed shall furnish a non-revocable Bank guarantee in favour of KSHDCL in respect of dealership within India and a valid Letter of Credit (LC) in respect of overseas dealership and KSHDCL will release the handicraft products not exceeding the value of Bank guarantee/ Letter of Credit (LC), at any given point of time.
  6. The Authorized dealer to be appointed shall be liable to sell minimum of 60% of the value of products supplied to him and is allowed to exchange only 40% of unsold stock of the total value of stocks supplied with other handicraft products of his choice, which is in stock of KSHDCL, within 6 months from the date of supplies.
  7. The Authorized dealer/franchise appointed by KSHDCL shall send a monthly sales statement on or before 5th of succeeding month along with a stock report and arrange for payment of the sales proceeds of previous month on or before 15th of Succeeding month on a receipt of tax invoice from KSHDCL.
  8. The Authorized dealer to be appointed shall not sell similar products procured from other sources other than the items supplied by KSHDCL.
  9. The Authorized dealer to be appointed shall not appoint sub-dealer/sub-agents for sale of handicraft products supplied to him by KSHDCL.
  10. KSHDCL reserves the right to inspect the stocks supplied to the approved authorized agents at any time and to advice on its display and sale of its products supplied.
  11. KSHDCL reserves the right to accept or reject any or all application/s received for appointing of Authorized dealers without giving any reason what so ever.
  12. Any disputes, differences which may arise at any time of operation of agreement between KSHDCL and the Authorized dealer shall be at the Bangalore Jurisdictional Courts.
