If you are in a relationship you must be aware that an animal must have a single owner. There will be no custody battles over ownership of any animal adopted from our organization. Ownership at all times belongs to the primary owner signing this document, no other contract including but not limited to marriage contracts may alter the terms of this document.

This animal MUST NOT EVER be given away for free, or sold to anyone housing animals that eat rabbits such as boa constrictors or any person or persons who uses rabbits for meat or for clothing. If at any time you wish to end your ownership of the animal, you MUST CONTACT NORTH OLYMPIC RABBIT RESCUE and await directions. We will either take the animal back, or send it to another organization. No refunds will be given for returned animals.
If for any reason this adoption application is for another animal such as a cat, dog, rodent, avian or lizard, all of the protections for the animal apply. This animal may not be used for fur, skin or meat nor may it be housed with other animals that specifically eat it. Exceptions can only be cut for dog and cat owners who absolutely prove their animals are notSurrendering the animal also works the same, our shelter must be contacted first.
