    Main database for national level data on consumption, brand share, distribution, ingredients, and more for many fast-moving consumer goods. Also has detailed market reports and demographic/economic data.

    Provides data on Canadians’ leisure activities, product consumption (by type and by brand), media exposure, and more. Difficult to interpret, but there’s help in the database.

    Industry reports for Canada, the US, and China (plus some Global reports). May help you identify major companies and understand relevant industry/market trends.

Reference books that help you to find questions asked in surveys by topic. All questions come from published market research journal articles. May find examples of questions for your own questionnaire. See also “The handbook of brand management scales”
PsycTESTS:

Thousands of psychological tests and measures, including measurements of consumer behavior such as Consumer Approach and Avoidance Goal Orientation Questionnaire. A great place to find ideas for your own studies.

  1. Institutional Research and Planning at SFU

    The department at SFU that has all the stats on students, programs, and courses. Possibly useful if you are going to be polling SFU students for your primary research and need overall stats on SFU people for comparison. Start with their Students and Special Reports sections.
