The Darius Quimby High-School Memorial Scholarship Program

Operation Thank an Officer’s Scholarship program provides scholarships every year to high-school seniors who are children of currently serving or retired law enforcement officials and high school and college students who are pursuing a degree in the law enforcement field. Directions for the application and eligibility requirement are found below.

An email that your application has been received will be sent to you. All application MUST BE POSTMARKED by April 20, 2018. All applications sent after this date will not be considered. Notifications will be sent out on May 7, 2018.

Selection Process: Operation Thank an Officer judges independently review each application and score according to scoring guidelines. Criteria used for scoring: Academic Achievement, Extracurricular and volunteer activities, Quality of Essay

Awards: One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded. Funds are deposited directly into the award winner’s school of higher education in August of 2018.
