Waiver: As a participant in the Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, I, the undersigned, do hereby assume the risk for participating on behalf of myself and for the other participants included as part of this entry. It is further agreed and understood that in no case will I or any such participants make any claims against the Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, its officers, directors, employees, the County of Warren, the Town of Front Royal, other parade participants or other duly assigned parade officials or assistants. I have read the general parade rules and regulations on the reverse, and take full responsibility for my entry adhering to these rules.

The 2017 FR-WC Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is proudly sponsored by:

PARADE RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. There will be only ONE Santa in the parade, and his appearance will be sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Front Royal Volunteer Fire Department. Other “Santas” will be removed before procession begins.
  2. For safety, NOTHING (including candy) can be thrown into the crowd from the parade route. Handouts may be given to the crowd by escorts walking alongside their entries.
  3. Entries must be in line in their respective staging area on Luray Avenue by 3 p.m. The parade begins at 4 p.m.
  4. All commercial vehicles in the parade must be decorated with a holiday theme.
  5. It is important that you keep your unit in motion at all times. No gaps and no stopping to perform other than at the judges stand located in front of the gazebo (maximum time 2 minutes to perform).
  6. Animal entries are required to supply their own “pooper scoopers”. They must be used at staging area, during the parade and at the end.
  7. All music from parade participants during line up or along parade route must be seasonal in nature and family friendly.
  8. Line up assignments will be emailed or available on the Chamber’s website November 29th.
  9. Parade route: Line up on Luray Avenue – Right on Stonewall Drive – Left on South Royal Avenue – Right on Main Street – Left on Chester Street – Right on 3rd Street – Disband at Warren County Government Center.

10.Due to space and safety issues the use of tractor-trailers will not be

permitted.
