Announcement of Summer Food Service Program
Okeechobee County Public School District is sponsoring meals during scheduled Summer School Sessions, as well as, for many Community Summer Day Camps. This year a new Open Walk-In Site has been added at Yearling Middle School that will be open from June 8th through July 29th. Students age 18 and under may walk in and eat breakfast and lunch at no charge at Yearling Middle School only. Other summer school feeding locations are for registered students only. Meals will be provided to all registered children each day without charge. Meals types vary at Community Summer Day Camps and will be handled by each individual camp. Acceptance and participation requirements for the Summer Food Service Program and all related activities are the same for all children, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and there will no discrimination in the course of each meal service.

Extended year ESE, Migrant Programs
Monday –Thursday: Breakfast and Lunch Served to registered Students at no charge
Secondary Summer Programs – (6th-12th) Credit Retrieval, Algebra 1 Bootcamp, Location:Okeechobee High School, OAA
Migrant Drama, Extended year ESE
Monday – Thursday: Breakfast and Lunch Served to registered Students at no charge
Open Walk-in Summer Feeding June 8th – July 29th Location: Yearling Middle School
Monday – Friday: Breakfast and Lunch Served to all children age 18 and under at no charge
Breakfast Serving Time: 7:45 – 8:45
Lunch Serving Time: 11:30 – 12:45
Band CampJuly 25th – July 29th only Location: Okeechobee High School
Monday – Friday: Lunch and Snack Served to registered Students at no charge
