Report / Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist
Purpose / To conduct Monitoring & Evaluation site visits and administration
Roles and Responsibilities:
Learning Programmes:
- Conduct Host Company workplace readiness site visits
- Conduct verification/implementation site visits of all training programmes
- Conduct support and enhancement site visits
- Follow up on Learning Programmes behind schedule
- Contribute in Commitment Register
- Monitor programme implementation plans (start and end dates)
- Monitor training progress
- Monitor terminations and extensions of programme implementations
- Monitor project compliance (mentors, stipends, learnership contracts, accreditations)
- Monitor employer training project contracts
- Collate and address stakeholder enquiries
- Coordinate monitoring progress of host companies learning programme Implementation Plans
- Monitor University Bursary projects
- Monitor TVET Capacitation and Placement Projects
Conduct site visits of the following:
● Credit bearing programmes (Learnerships and Skills Programmes)
● Non-credit bearing programmes (AET,Apprenticeship,Bursary,Internship/WIL,Candidacy programme)
Training Provider
● Verify overall compliance
● Review of QMS
● TrainingAttendance registers
● Assessor/Moderator compliance
Learning Programme Impact
- Work with research office to distribute and collect learning programme impact and tracer surveys
- Maintain and update the unemployed learner tracking system
- Compile General ETQA Reports
- Compile site visit reports
- Compile Monitoring and Evaluation Reports
Experience and Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in a related role
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration/Management/Business Administration or equivalent

Quality:
- Apply Quality management principles and procedures in the workplace
- Apply the basic skills of customer service
- Use a personal computer Microsoft operating system: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- MIS and other internal software systems
- Electronic Filing Systems
- Analyse the skills development legislation and apply it in the workplace
- Identify and maintain the types of records required within the department and understand why it is necessary to create evidence and maintain confidentiality
