1. On the district website, select Remote Desktop under the Teachers tab.

  1. If you are at home, select the “at home” option.

  1. You might get a window like this or the Connect button may be grayed out. If so, follow steps 3-10.

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options.

  1. Once the Internet Option window appears, select the Programs tab and then select the Manage Add-ons button.

  1. Once the Manage Add-ons window appears, click the drop-down arrow in the Show area and select the “Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer” option.

  1. Click the Microsoft Terminal Service that is listed under the Disabled section and then select the Enable button in the Settings area. Once Enable is selected, it will immediately be added to the Enabled section and will disappear from the Disabled section.
  1. This window shows what the screen will look like once the Enable button is selected.
  1. A new window will appear informing you that, “For changes to take effect, you might need to restart Internet Explorer”. Most of the time this will not be necessary but it might. How you will know if you need to is if the Connect button is still grayed out. If it is not grayed out, you will not need to restart Internet Explorer. Click the OK button to get this window to disappear.
  1. Select the OK button to get this window to disappear and to return to Internet Explorer.
  1. If you have followed the steps above, the Connect button should now be available. If it is still grayed out, close Internet Explorer and then reopen it. To continue, select the Connect button. JUST HIT THE CONNECT BUTTON. DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING IN THE SERVER BOX! IF YOU DO, YOU WILL NOT CONNECT!
  1. Usually a new window will appear that looks like this. If you have an older version of Internet Explorer you may or may not see this window. This is nothing to worry about. If you have this window appear, select the Connect button.

The next window will be the place that you log in. You the same log in name and password that you use at school and everything should be fine.

Good luck
