Baby Wipes

Could we please remind all parents who send nappies in for their child to also send in baby wipes. School are currently having to order baby wipes on a regular basis and as I am sure you can imagine this is a significant cost to ourselves.

Harvest Festival

It is that time of year again when we think about our Harvest donation. Once again we will be collecting items for The People’s Kitchen. Below is a list of items for you to choose from and we would be really grateful if these items could be in school by Monday 17th October 2016 as they are being collected on Tuesday 18th October.

Milk (UHT or Powered) / Tinned Vegetables / Salt & Pepper
Sugar / Dumpling Mix / Timed meat/fish
Fruit Cordial Squashes / Tinned Rice Pudding / Tinned Fruit
Tins of Soup / Tea Bags / Jar of Jam

Tinned Tomatoes / Drinking Chocolate / Paper Kitchen Towels & cloths

Sleep Drop in Session

On Wednesday 5th October, our Family Support Worker, Julie will be joined by Diane Watson who is a specialist health visitor for children with additional needs. Diane will be available to offer support, advice and information around SLEEP. No appointment is necessary - feel free to drop by at our Blaydon between 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 2.30pm for a cup of tea/coffee, biscuits and a chat!

Makaton Training (St Chad’s)

St Chad’s Community project are hosting a series of Makaton training delivered by our very own Sue House. If any parents are interested then please contact St Chad’s directly on 0191 490 0132. Dates will be finalised based on interest.

Census

Throughout the year the DFE requires schools to complete a census to analyse data. This year they have asked for further information which we do not have on our database therefore we would be really grateful if you could complete the slip below and return it to school as soon as possible.
