2016-17 Bloomington South AP Exams
Taking the Advanced Placement exam is an important part of all AP courses. Bloomington High School South desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on future tuition. It is also necessary to take the AP exam along with the AP class for students wishing to complete the “additional requirements” for an academic honors diploma.
For the 2017 AP exams, once again students at Bloomington High School South will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.
Online Exam registration will begin on Sun, Jan 1, 2017 and end on Friday, Mar 10, 2017. Students who register after the Mar 10th deadline must pay a $25 late registration fee per registration. This year each AP exam costs $100.00. The state of Indiana supplements math and science as well as English Lang. and English Litt. exams, and the cost is reduced to $10 for students enrolled in those courses. Students who receive a federal free or reduced lunch will have their fees waived pending approval.
In order to register, students should click on the link provide on the BHSS website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/150215 to register .To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have paid and printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. We know that parents may desire to register their students for exams. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.
During registration, students will be prompted to select a pre-administration session that will meet during Panther Plus in April. Attendance to the session is mandatory as students will fill out forms necessary to the exams. Students who fail to attend a pre-administration session will not be allowed to take their exam or be given a refund.
Bloomington High School South is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Families will also be given the option to mail-in a check or money order.

· Sun, Jan 1, 2017 - Registration Begins
· Fri, Mar 10, 2017 – Deadline. Registrations and payments after this date will incur a $25 late fee per registration.
· Fri, Mar 24, 2017 – Late registration Ends
· Mon, Mar 27, 2017 - Registrations that have not been paid for will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.
