Agricultural products due well in the Ridge and Valley due to the rich, loamy soil.

The Ridge and Valley are more populated because the land is easier to build on and the soil is richer for growing crops.

The mountain regions have similar plants and animals, similar temperatures in winter and summer and receive the same amount of rainfall. The mountain regions vary: the Blue Ridge region receives the most snow, elevations vary between all three, and the Ridge and Valley has the richest soil.

There are not a lot of large animals in the Piedmont due to the number of roads and buildings.
