Ever heard of a “PUB CHORAWL”? Well PSG Choirs did one on Friday the 16th June in Devizes. Basically it’s a PUB CRAWL with a difference – you entertain the customers with a bunch of songs at each pub! This was the first time for the PSG’s new set to be sung in public and included “Shackles”, “Living on a Prayer” and “I Wanna be – eternal”. After meeting up at The Silk Mercer, the first venue was The Lamb, the choir then moved to The Black Swan and ended up in The Crown where, maybe,we recruited a new young bass - he certainly enjoyed joining in!

With new song success in the bag, we are now working on “All about the bass”written by Kadish & Trainor.This was first performed on Meghan Trainor’s debut EP album “Title” in 2014. Raised in NantucketMA, she is a very talented singer, songwriter, rapper, musician and produced three independently-released albums between ages 15 and 17 – how’s that for talent?

“All about the bass” continues to attracted covers by other artistes with the most significant being a Trad-Jazz version by PostModernJukebox (reminiscent of the Andrew Sisters, for those of you who know 40’s and 50’s swing style Trad-Jazz,!) and a Country & Western version, by a’ Capellagroup Home Free. If you like a change, look out for Meghan with James Cordon doing a new lyrics version “All About That Change”!!!!)

Following the PSG arrangement, who knows, maybe we could persuade the trio of Katy Pery, Keri Hilson and Jennifer Nettles to do a cover with us!
