Menage

There is an all weather 60 x 40 menage available exclusively for our use at no extra cost. This operates on a first come first serve basis.

Please ensure that any poo is collected immediately and put in container provided. The poo picking equipment is by the gate.

Gates

Please ensure you close all gates behind you/your horse

Parking

Horseboxes will unload directly in the paddock area (see ‘Directions’) and can remain in the unloading area until your departure. Please park neatly allowing for others to park next to you.

Please clear up any poo in this area.

Car parking is provided through and behind the horse yard on the gravelled area.

Please do not park in the yard at any time.

Cross Country Course

There is a small course of 5 rustic jumps in one of the large paddocks. Each jump is so constructed that it is small on one side and larger on the other side, enabling a small horse and a larger one to jump side by side.

Paddocks

There will be one large post and railed paddock for Mares, one large post and railed paddock for geldings. If you wish your horse to graze on it’s own, please bring your own fencing and energizer to isolate your horse within the appropriate mare/gelding paddock.

It is possible, but by no means certain, that we may be offered a few individual paddocks again this year but we will not know how many until very much nearer the time. I have numbered the requests for individual paddocks in order of receipt. No poo picking is required as the yard has a paddock sweeper.

Water

Drinking water is not plumbed into the stables but is available from taps around the yard. Bring your own water buckets for stable use.

Water is available via a hosepipe to the paddocks, all of which have a trough or large water container. You may wish to satisfy yourself as to the cleanliness and purity of the water given its proximity to the sea.
